Yuggoth Garlic (Allium sativum)
Yuggoth Garlic (Allium sativum)
This variety bred by Avram Drucker of Garlicana in Tiller, Oregon, has bright white, tightly-wrapped bulbs with occasional purple striping and 9-14 purple-skinned cloves per bulb (8-10 of them plantable). Medium to high heat and a complex flavor that remains when cooked. Later maturing - harvest along with marbled types. Yuggoth stores more than 8 months in good conditions – better than many other varieties. Yuggoth may not be 100% stable; some plants have softneck bulbs or monobulbs common in early generations of true seed garlic. Sow in fall to harvest the following summer.
Garlic cannot be shipped outside of the continental United States (including HI, US territories, or Armed Forces) or to the following states: AK, CA, CO, GA, ID, KS, MT, NV, OR, or WA.
