Pawpaw seeds (Asimina triloba)

Pawpaws are a unique North American fruit tree with large, tropical-looking leaves and delicious, custard-flavored fruits.

Planting Instructions:

Cold Stratification: Pawpaw seeds require 90–120 days of cold stratification to break dormancy. Place seeds in damp sand or peat moss in the refrigerator (around 32–41°F) for 3–4 months.

Planting Depth: Sow seeds 1 inch deep in well-draining, loamy soil.

Spacing: Plant seedlings 8–12 feet apart to allow for mature growth.

Sunlight: Partial shade for young plants; full sun for mature trees.
