American Beech seeds (Fagus grandifolia)

Planting Instructions:

Cold Stratification: American Beech seeds require 90–120 days of cold stratification. Place seeds in moist sand or peat moss in the refrigerator.

Planting Depth: Sow seeds 1 inch deep in well-drained, slightly acidic soil.

Spacing: Plant 30–50 feet apart to allow for mature size.

Sunlight: Prefers partial shade, especially as a young tree; mature trees do best in full sun.

Watering: Requires consistent moisture, especially in the first few years.
